How It Started

The Plumbers Report Card was created by Wilfred Vanderveer, a Master Plumber with decades of knowledge and experience as a Service Plumber and then a Plumbing Operations Manager behind it.

It all started back in 1991 when he began his career. Over the years, all his work was performed based on the principles of Quality Workmanship and Outstanding Customer Service. Working as a Service Plumber, Wilfred performed numerous Plumbing Safety Inspections and his extensive skillset led him to become responsible for training other technicians to complete Inspections correctly and completely at several large plumbing companies.

Inspecting Rooms

The Plumbers Report Card is an essential property plumbing system inspection tool that will revolutionize the process and become Standard Operating Procedures for all Realtors, Property Management Companies, Insurers, Home Warranty companies, Plumbers, Buyers, and Sellers.

The Plumbers Report Card App demands inspection of every plumbing related area of the home being inspected i.e. the Bathroom, Kitchen, Laundry, Water Heater, Crawl Space, Attic, Sewer and the Exterior of the home.

Checking Items

With The Plumbers Report Card, each room that has been designated as one that accesses the plumbing system, has a specific list of items to check. On each of these items the inspector must select one of four options:

1. Checks Out OK
2. Requires Attention
3. Requires Immediate Attention
4. Not Applicable

With The Plumbers Report Card any item that is designated either Requires Attention or Requires Immediate Attention in the Inspection Report will require the inspector to take a picture and/or video of any issues found within the App and those photos or videos will be forwarded to anyone expecting to receive the final report.

The Overall Inspection

On the first page of the inspection app there is a Percentage Meter, if the inspector does not select one of these four options on each item inspected and include a picture or video when choosing requires Attention or Requires Immediate Attention, the meter will not register items as complete so the percentage does not increase.  With The Plumbers Report Card, before the inspection report can be generated and emailed to your client, the Percentage Meter must be at 100%. This ensures that the inspector doesn't forget an item to inspect and that the home is Plumbing Certified.
